Gurnick Academy is seeking a NCLEX and Student Retention Coordinator, BSN-Registered Nursing Program at our Concord, CA Campus. This is an on-campus position at our Concord Campus.
Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.
Annual Salary Range, Full-time: $100,000 – $118,000
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing, natural, behavioral or social sciences relevant to nursing practice as defined in CCR Section 1425(d)
- Three (3) years of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the last 5 years
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Preferred management work experience in a school environment
- Preferred knowledge of the educational process at other institutions
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators
Basic Function
The primary function of the NCLEX and Student Retention Coordinator requires a working knowledge of advising, retention, and student success strategies. Knowledge of the mission and philosophy of the school of nursing is important. The position requires a collaborative partnership with the BSN Program Director, BSN Staff and Faculty, and Student Services Department.
