The Project Coordinator (PC) will help manage projects such as new construction, maintenance, tenant improvements (TIs) and vendor relations for commercial space across six locations in California for our medical professions post-secondary school. The PC will assist senior managers with managing real estate operations, overseeing tenant improvements, coordinating construction projects, handling vendor management, supporting campus relocations, and assisting with lease negotiations and the search for new facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help manage commercial real estate across multiple locations.
- Coordinate and manage tenant improvement (TI) projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and lease terms.
- Help manage construction projects, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule.
- Help manage vendor relationships, selecting and overseeing subcontractors and service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of campus relocations and tenant moves, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Assist with lease negotiations, renewals, and modifications to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct site searches and evaluations for new facilities, conducting market analysis and coordinating negotiations.
- Monitor and manage ongoing maintenance of properties to ensure they are well-maintained and operational.
- Prepare reports and provide updates on project status, budget, and timeline for senior management.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Project Management or Construction Management; 2 years as a Project Manager for construction or infrastructure projects and two years in the following skills:
- Manage construction projects
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
- Review construction contracts and ensure regulatory compliance
- Commercial property management
75% work from main office in San Jose, CA and 25% travel to campuses in the following CA cities: Concord, Modesto, Fresno, Sacramento, Van Nuys.
Salary: $135,000 – $140,000
